The farmers from Gujarat, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand visited Maharashtra, Haryana and Chhattisgarh. In Ratnagiri, Maharashtra farmers visited mango and cashew processing units, progressive farmers’ fields and market and had an opportunity to practically see the different technologies in practice there for modern fruit production. In Nagpur, Maharashtra farmers of Gujarat visited ICAR-CCRI- Central Citrus Research Institute, ICAR-National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning, ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research, progressive farmers’ fields and fruits-mandi and upgrade their knowledge about the production of quality planting material and post-harvest management of citrus and other important high value horticultural crops. In Sonipat, Haryana farmers of Jharkhand visited National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonipat Haryana (NIFTEM), HAIC-Integrated Mushroom Research & Development Center Sonipat Haryana, technology park of Institute of Horticulture technology and progressive farmer and recipient of Padma Shri Sh. Kanwal Singh Chauhan mushroom and baby corn facility in Sonipat, Haryana. The farmers took keen interest in the modern technologies being adopted at various places.
