The department has a competent techno savvy faculty to provide capacity building trainings to trainers, farmers, students and prospective entrepreneurs. This department undertakes projects on technology demonstration of various crops in different states of India. The projects on protected cultivation of cucumber and tomato have been very successful for technology transfer at farmers’ level.
